Game Freezes

Hello all, I recently bought Crusader Kings 2 and the dlc old gods, and soon had problems having the game freeze up on me constantly every time after I select something like a county to start with or a person to play as. Now I've been able to play the game a couple times, but I still have the same problem even when i play, I start to click on things too fast, my game freezes on me. I tried multiple things to fix this with no avail, and even tried to contact tech support as well, but for some reason I am unable to get a hold of them for some odd reason. I'm hoping that someone is able to tell me the problem I have and how to fix this. Otherwise I fear that I wasted my time and money on this game knowing that it is a really good game.

Welcome to the club. No one replies to questions like this and I'm having exact same problem. At first I thought i had the solution, as I played for 5 hours straight without a lag or a crash then I quitted the game. I returned on the next day, it crashes constantly again. I literally gave up on trying to fix it.

Most strangest thing is, all of the games I own that was made by Parodox, crashes on my computer too.

How exactly did you try to contact Paradox Tech Support? I run that forum on the Paradox forums, and I answer posts every day. Or you can log a ticket direct with them at paradox.zendesk.com .

please post a dxdiag.txt (you can delete everything after the "Sound devices" section for brevity), settings.txt, system.log and error.log files (you'll need to rename the .log files to .txt to upload). Also open setup.log, search for "checksum", and paste that line only in here.
