Missing dynasty flags/shields

Whenever I play this game, most of the shields of a dynasty are just black on the map. I don't know why. Is there a solution?

The solution was most likely to delete this folder: Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings II\gfx

It happens if you don't have all COA DLCs.
