Declaring war for more than one title ?
Hi guys as in topic title says is there a option to declare a war for more then one thing ? For example im king of wales and i want my de jure claims from England. i only choose one for claim. when i win war ends and i get a truce. if i broke truce i get bad status. i want this war continue for other counties too. its just annyoing declaring war for one little county then have truce like 5-10 years. how can declare war to claim more then one title ?

thanks in advance

I far as I'm aware the only time you can press multiple claims at once against the same ruler is if you have multiple 'personal' claims. That is where your character has strong claims on multiple counties most likely recieved by fabricating claims.
So you can't press more than one Dejure claim against the same ruler at the same time. You either break the truce, or you assassinate the ruler you have a truce with and declare war on his successor. The point is to stop nations from steamrolling through Europe.

You can have multiple wars against different opponents though.

@alexraoul exactly a good way to stop steamrolling as you said, but i think still its unrealistic a little.
@woosh yes i know but that wasn't my question :D

You need to fabricate mutliple titles that belong to the same person. Then declare war. Sntaching all their titles in one swoop and eliminating them as a landed noble. Best done with a highly talented chancellor and a young ruler in palce at the beginning for best effect. I've taken entire dukedoms this way.

You can "press all claims" If you have mutliples of the same nature of claim against one person. So if you are declaring a war on a duke that say. Has three counties and you have fabricated claims on all 3 it will give you the option " press all claims."

Another way to grab land fast from a bigger country is to fabricate claims on the areas you want. Marry people with claims to places you want. Then foster a civil war in the target country. Beat up both sides whilst they are fighting each other a and grab every claim you can.

And finally. Marry young landed lady nobles. High chances these lands they own will pass into your kingdom on their deaths.

I luv press all claims. Try and fabricate several counties in a duchy, then you get the option
alexraoul 18. apr. 2013 kl. 15:55
It would be nice if you could press all Dejure claims at once though. Becoming Emperor of Britania isn't as great if you have to conquer The Kingdom of England one county at a time.

try to get the ruler excomunicated then ask for an invasion, thats how i get kingdoms fast

This game isn't as much about painting the map your color as EU3 for example, the
fabricate --> press claim works well when you only want smaller realms absorbed. with the tactics above described for pressing all claims. make sure you take 50% of a duchy and then move on to another, as 50% will automaticly give you claims on the rest which you can press over time.
For large realms get a claim on the main title i.e Britain by marrying in to the family somehow and then press the main big claim to grab the title in one big go. takes a lot of planning and luck to expand quickly and effectively.

thanks all. just one more little question. can i fabricate claim on duchy or kingdoms ? if i can how ? when i see plots in my kingdoms some guys try to fabricate claim on a duchy or kingdom. with my chancellor i can only get claim to counties ?
Arkeangel 19. apr. 2013 kl. 10:27
You can fabricate claims on duchies using your chancellor if they are good at their job. Don't think I ever seen a chancellor do one on a kingdom.

The plot option is different you can even try and fabricate claims on empires if you are within that realm.

You have to send your councillor to the capitol county of the duchy or kingdom. There's still always a chance that he'll only get a county claim, but a better chancellor will have a higher chance of getting a claim on the higher titles. I've gotten ducal claims this way, and I'm sure it works for kingdoms too. Theoretically it might work for empires, but I imagine that would be very unlikely! Just make sure you have the money and prestige/piety to spare to use the claim.

I got a claim of a duchy with resending the chancellor into a region where I already had a freshly fabricated claim. I can not remember - it is possible that it was the main land of the duchy, as suggested above. But I got the bigger title on the second try.

i know this you can only press all claims when you got multiple Strong claims
Fluxive 20. apr. 2013 kl. 4:37
and for the claim on a kingdom is mostly plots to fabricate a claim on the kingdom with the other vassals and is not always there
