Report a translation problem
Update: I was able to get it working through some easy jiggery-pokery. I went to my Crusader Kings 2 folder and simply switched the compatibility mode for CK2game.exe to Windows 7 (what I had before the update) and made sure to check run as administrator. Ran perfectly after that.

No need to delete your save files or mods.
If a mod is incompatible, simply uncheck them in the launcher.
Uninstalling and reinstalling with a new OS is a good idea anyway though.

If the game did run before (also do so if you find no way to install the linked software as Windows resists), then go in to your "Progams" and uninstall
Microsoft Visual c++ 2010 (x86) , then reinstall by using the link i provided.
Nice that you copied an earlier post of mine, but that doesn't always apply.
