Merchant Republics & Trade Posts in India
I'm playing as a Danish merchant republic and I've run into a snag that prevents me from building trading posts in the red sea area along the coast that I own. The obstruction is a criterion which says "[X] Can be reached by sea". Since I don't think I can build the Suez canal and I can't move my capital, is it just impossible to build trade posts in an unconnected sea zone area like the Indian ocean zone? Thanks.

Do u have to fully control Duchy of Sinai or just country of Sinai , do u have to have trade posts on those lands ? I allready have Duchy of Sinai but i cant pass Suez atm

I assume you will need to have a direct land connection from a med port to a red sea port so at least two counties.
