Diseases are not working

A bug I have encountered right away after having started a game with reapers due is that diseases simply do not seem to work, no character, not a single one in the entire world, those inside of disease areas, or outside, have even a symptom of a disease. There are no characters with the ill trait, and my ruler gets symptom events popup every few weeks, but he receives none ( character gains the trait ''). The only trait seemingly existing in that direction is sickly for newborn.
Anyone of you have a similar experience?

Works fine for me. My duchy is currently suffering from Smallpox and I have TRD active. If you mean right away, sickness takes time to develop in-game.

Well, I've not had any epidemics yet, but then again, I only just got started. However, the new sickness-traits has appeared among some of my courties, and a few sickness-related events have happened - my oldest son caught something and died in the privy - and no, nothing like what happened to Tywin Lannister, just sickness, pure and simple - but that was okay because I wanted my younger son to be the one to inherit anyway, since he has the 'quick' trait :D

I had the game running for 20 years in fast foward, and still, not a single person in the world with neither a symptom nor a disease, with smallpox and consumption ravaging all across the world.

you need to be in a populated area. try playing as anything in byzantine with a start date of 769. that place is ground zero for sickness... hell I'm seeing sickness events at a rate of 1 every 1-2 months...

The problem is that I keep getting sickness events, but not the corresponding symptom, I get the headache event but not the headeache, I get the fever event, but not the fever, when I hover over the Alas! button it states: character gains the Trait ''

im having the same trouble with mine i figured it was one of my mods but i turned off anything that would mess with the gameplay but nope as soon as i got to my second ruler she kept getting the event i was hoping it would just stop but again nope

It seems to be a problem related even to minor mods, though I am unable to pinpoint it at this moment.
Though it would appear that the physician feature from Your Personal Castle and the now dlc included one could be the issue, as they seem logical to conflict with one another.

yeah, I would probably suggest turning off all mods... I highly doubt they are updated for this patch, given the amount of changes.

well i just fully deleted ck2 (deleting both the folder in the documents and in the program files) and now it seems to work better also not using the better looking garbs anymore
