Black dynasty shield glitch - tried deleting gfx folder - does anyone have a fix for this??

Recently came back to CK2 (wanted to see what the issue was with Conclave), since installing the DLC dynasty shields have been coming up completely black. I've tried looking online and read numerous posts to delete the gfx folder and/or delete local content and re-install the game. I've tried both of these, neither worked. Does anyone know how to fix this?

The gfx folder in Documents/ParadoxInteractive/CK2 that is.

Also did you try to start a new game or load an old one ? Try a fresh game afterwards.

I had this bug after Horse Lords came out. To fix it I eventually had to buy the Charlemagne dynasty shields pack, it was kinda annoying but it only cost 60p on sale,so it wasn't really a big deal.

Thanks, the problem was indeed that I'd been deleting the gfx folder in the Steamapps folder and not the one in ParadoxInteractive/CK2.
