Mod tab isn't working

The mod tab is greyed out and isn't letting me click it. Like two weeks ago the mods I have were working fine and now they don't. I have uninstalled and reinstalled CK2, I have restarted my computer, I've restarted steam and it is up to date, CK2 is also up to date, and even redownloaded all the mods I have and nothing is working. Does anyone have any other better solutions for me to use?

Check that your "dlc" folder inside the game files folder is in lower case.
I'm pretty sure it's not only a cause for this on Linux...

Are the mods indeed installed in the mod folder in Documents/Para../CK2/mod ?

You mean manually, not via Workshop, right ?
Other wise i'd wonder how you would know that they downloaded properly.
You also unpacked the manualy downloaded mods after downloading i assume ?

The mods are in the right folder. I have a mix of workshop and non-workshop mods.The manual ones I followed the directions to install them properly. And the workshop mods I have I resubscribed to them. All the mods are updated to work with the newest version of the game.

I don't know if this is your case but I noticed that the mds don't work if the steam cloud is disabled for ck2.

So my steam cloud was disabled. So i turned it back on and now the tab works. I am very thankful for your help.
