Designing multiple rulers in the Ruler Designer?
Hello and sorry if this has already been mentioned. If so, I'd be grateful for a link to the discussion.
I have purchased the Ruler Designer planning to make an entire country of rulers of my design (friends, family, etc.) as I'd love to see how this plays out. Now, however, I am reading that I can make only one ruler prior to the game and that's it. If I make another one, the first one resets to the original.
Is there any way around it. I don't mind putting some effort into it as I'd really love to try and play this way.
Any help greatly appreciated.

You can create a mod with edited history files. That's a LOT of work for every single ruler though.

Regarding traits and attributes you can use console commands (aka cheats).

Regarding portraits i'd guess you could create the ruler, start save, quit , open save file and copy and paste the dna and porperties parts of the char into a file with charID.
When you have done all the characters, open the save file you want to play and paste the dna and propeties into it accordingly for each character.
Which you could also turn into a mod at that stage of course.

Not sure if there is maybe an easier way to modify the only-one-character restricition in RD away, but i never read about it.

Fantastic. I'll do that. Thanks!
One last thing: do you happen to know what those entries in the save game files refer to:
hist=yes
fat=82246
dnt=10293349

historical (in game file history; not a custom charater/not created while playing)
father
dynasty

If you have a save file from before patch 2.6x you could open that and compare to have a better idea of what these mean, as the abbreviations only exist since 2.6.
