How can I get my vasals to vote for the heir I want

Their opinion needs to be high for them to vote for you and won't vote who you vote for you if your a rival of theirs.

It's like I had my first born daughter as an elective choice; all 4 of my vassals agreed and voted for her. Then I had a son with better stats and I changed my vote to him; not long afterwards my vassals also voted for him. If you keep them happy and high green; they will usually vote the way you vote. But, pis them off and tax or levy too much and they will vote someone else in office. Most of my city mayors are in the 60's to 70's while my bishop is near 100. They love me. :)
