The most adaptative I've observed to be Amazon. Sadly, Steam is the most inflexible. Tends to never respond to sales by competitors.
Steam has regular sales all the time - and during their "big" sales you can get significant savings on large numbers of the titles (including sales of entire catalogs...) I can't begrudge them for not responding because someone else offers game x for less on a given day - they provide enough savings over the course of a year that I take advantage of.
Very true. Also, I noted something: Steam is the most expensive option, average.
