System Requirements Release Date?
I would love to pre-order the survival edition of the game but am worried my rig wont run it (or at least run it well)
anyone know when the recommended requirements will be out?
I know my passes the minimum but not by much...
This is how my rig stacks up against the minimum and Game-Debate Predicted requirements: Comparison [www.game-debate.com]
what do you think? should i wait for the requirements to be released or just pre-order it now?
Thanx guys :)

I think you should wait more, they will hopefully release requirements at least week before release or earlyer

To be honest, Anything above that is recommended, but there's a "secret" thing for thoes who have DX 11...

fair enough.
hope the secret is something good :) have yet to see many DX 11 extras in games

Those requiremets are too low lol.even for minimum they are disgustingly low.I expected more even from Minimum specs. If there are Recommended specs why they arent here?Maybe the ones the store page is having are the OVERALL System Specs? The ones and only?

@grund there is only a secret to be revealed when people have 2 things 1. Windows 8 ( 7 will NOT support DX11) and 2. a graphic card that Supports DX11

Still, maybe is a recommended thing
Having Windows 8 now is normal and if some people are thinking on upgrading the GFX, people will chose to have something decent nowadays

I would say a 7570 or a 7870 for a gfx card is future-proof and capable of running most games nowadays at ease, along with an i5 and 4GB of RAM.

that sounds like a fair assumption. i cant really upgrade my gpu as its a laptop but its classed as a mid range gpu nowadays. still waiting for the recommended requirements which should be announced soon(ish) before pre-ordering
if they are not out by the 20th ill probably pre-order it anyway :P

although the news isn't official i do not expect the game to be as heavy as crysis 3 ( not even 2 ish) but i do hope it works/looks better then de recent call of duty's cause they always use custom engines other then the bigger company's get ( unreal/cryengine/frostbyte/ect..) so i think if you got a decent dual core (i3 problably) with 256mb ram card 4gb ram is just basic stuff even in laptops (priced around 400-500 euro's ) I think this will be very well playable just not everything on high. what game other then crysis wants you to have i5 or higher atleast right now these days? tomb raider never was the Graphic card/cpu killer so expect more ambiance. the biggest plus is that when players do have higher specs it just runs better

Why wouldnt 7 support dx11...that makes no sense at all! I think its safe to say thats an assumption, and an unreasonable one at that.

I can confirm on behalf of a Square Enix employee (whom I speak to) that the Specifications on Steam are indeed INACCURATE.

Minimum specifications are CLOSE, but Recommeneded is higher. The game will have a lot of PC enhanced graphical options apparently, including DX11 features. We've been promised that it's coming "soon" according to him, he's not allowed to say anything specific.
HardonCollider 10/fev./2013 às 18:09
Quad-XFire ATI HD7990
Hexacore at min 5.2 GHz
16GB DDR3 RAM at 6000MHz
Liquid Nitrogen cooling system

I hope that helped.
