Saw the sale and was wondering.....
Not if it's worth it because I played some on Xbox and loved it. It's just that I was about to buy it for it through gamefly and saw this sale. Has there been any technical problems running this game for folks? I would like to post my specs and see if it would be worth it to get the PC version over the hassle free of Xbox.

I have an alienware m17x rv2 with dual ati 5870 in crossfire core i7 Q820 @1.73ghz (3.2 ghz turbo boost) and 8 gb ram while using win 7 64bit home premium. catalyst 13.1

I value your opinions so please give me more than "PC is superior". I don't doubt the graphics are better, but if it is a technical nightmare or if my specs won't give me an edge over the Xbox, then I would like to know in advance. Thanks.

your specs are fairly decent. The crossfired 5870's should give you a nice boost. Technicality wise this game was built with AMD in mind so for once we're the ones who reap the benefit of maximum efficiency on our card.

Be warned, if you turn on tressfx hair you will take a hard hit on fps, but will also get super addicted to how awesome it is and then forever struggle with hard choices of occassional choppy fps or boring hair.

first world problems.

I have seen these sort of comments before, is there something I need to know about this brand. Will it make my performance suffer or something?

They are stupidly overpriced, as are all premade pcs. Building your own rig is the way to go, depending on how good you want your pc to be, you can save hundreds building it yourself.

No, it's just that building your own PC would have been much, much cheaper.

True. I want to do that it's just I am a flight attendant and game on the go so this was the best way for me to get the performance (as close too) desktop while traveling. I also have a gaems case (halo vanguard edition) to bring my consoles. It has a nice 19" 720p screen in it.

QFTT. Learn to build one. It's easy, plus you get a better understanding of how they work. Now back to reading if this game is wortb it, lol.

I had no issues with the game when I played it. I didn't have the fancy hair turned on but the game was stable and it never crashed or froze. The only issues I ran into was alt+tabbing out to windows and trying to go back to the game wouldn't work half the time (the game didn't freeze, but the screen would just be black and I could still hear audio), but as a PC gamer I've learned that some games just don't like the whole alt+tab thing.

Wow, you guys are awesome. I've put together a couple of desktop rigs myself, but I don't know anyone that has built their own gaming laptop!

They're just mad because he didn't have to deal with DoA hardware.
