FIXED SOLUTION Hitman5 has stopped working FIXED SOLUTION

I had a problem with starting Hitman Absolution, now it has been fixed thanx to Square Enix technical support.

SOLUTION : Uninstall COMPLETELY Bitdefender 2011, if you have another antivirus, try to completely uninstalling it. Creating an exception rule was not enough in my case, again, I completely uninstalled my Bitdefender Total Security.

It seems like there arjavascript:CCommentThread.FormattingHelpPopup(%20'ForumTopic'%20);e many people having the same problem, the famous ''Hitman5 has stopped working'' Many people say that it won't run on XP but my PC is on Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.
We need some experienced people here for solution, my Steam is up to date and my graphics card too so what is the real problem guys, please HELP !

i have Windows 7 64-bit
QX9650 intel
Nvidia 470 GTX
8GB Ram
drivers and steam all up to date but same problem as all the others... :\

yea i am having problems too with the game , such it freezing during cut scenes or objects and ncps popping in and out during in game

maybe they will relase a pacth for it ?

Yeah, I'm having the game crash on cutscenes as well. Starting to get annoying.

Windows 7
I5-2430M
GT540M (optimus)
8 GB of ram
and running on an SSD.

isita spider i think that i know why this wont work because you ave an i5 and this game requires an i7 for all you others out there to so your pc probably cant handle it sorry to say i am not sure but its a possibility

Whenever i go to start hitman absolution, it just says

"Application currently unavailable (application running)"

1: no, its not running, hma.exe isnt in the processes
2: i have tried restarting steam in admin mode
3: i have tried restarting my computer
4: i have tried reinstalling the game
5: i have tried varify game cache
6: i have tried setting steam files to not read only
7: i have tried renaming ClientRegistry.blob to ClientRegistryOld.blob



nothing works. never had this problem before, and i own over 100 steam games.

I maybe have a solution that might work.

On Steam : right-click Hitman absolution game
Click on properties then go to local files, lastly click on Verify Integrity of game cache...

nothing works. never had this problem before, and i own over 100 steam games.

Then the problem is on Square-enix side or steam side. We should wait 1 or 2 days for patches maybe just like Aziranov said

I just tried that... found 4 files that couldnt be recognized, now steam is loading them again... meybe itll work after its done... ill let you guys know...
