Black Ops 2 Offline Multiplayer
Hey. i know why they dont have offline multiplayer in pc version. Its because of piracy. But what the heck, xbox's are moded all the time and people play pirated games all the time on xbox's. Maybe they should take away offline multiplayer from that too. Its really anoying me. I dont have the worlds "best" internet so i cant play everyday online. I need a offline mode. To train when bored, or just to play for fun when i have no internet. Anyone else think the same way? or am i the only one. I am very disapointed with Treyarch with this..

"Offline Multiplayer"

Hehe, "Local" to be exact :p

Zombie and MP modes are always online. Period.

Want to train? Play a custom game vs bots. Wantt o play with friends? Invite them to your game. Want to be local? get in a LAN and paly with them.

True. But my point is. Xbox and PS3 users get the "local" mode. It wasnt added to pc due to piracy of games on pc. But xbox and ps3 users still get the local mode, even though that alot of xbox users have a pirated version of black ops 2 on there xbox. Take it away from xbox and ps3 if it isnt on pc. It isnt fair.

do you guys have any knowlege of call of duty!?! Blackops 1 had multiplayer offline! if you werent connected to the internet you can play "multiplayer" offline (Local) with bots! that's what he meant! blackops 2 has local offline also but pc doesnt which is redank!! no offline zombies!?!?! what if someone has no internet!?!?! what a waste of $60!! I have the legit version of black ops 2 and I will do what it takes to have offline zombies/multiplayer (being careful of viruses of course) I pay for what I deserve! I payed for call of duty and I should be able to play offline!

You just noticed that you revived my 1 year old post? :P

Btw i would be carefull with all those programs that let you play offline against bots, some of them might work but you will definitely get VAC-banned.....

Just reviving this to say that BLOPS III does have local multiplayer for PC.
There is a mod called redacted that tricks the game into thinking its connected online but its actually running a server on your pc, letting you play offline with bots. it also works for zombies - I suggest having all the dlc for the best experience with the mod. And Yes I know this comment is mega late, but its still good info for the poor souls still buying this game in frieking 2024. They also tried to take the redacted mod down but I still have the og file if anyone needs it just contact me or find it elsewhere. Just a heads up, you cant play the campaign unless you reset your files / verify, the mod screws them up, so when your done playing mp and want to switch to sp you should keep a copy of the mod somewhere safe so you can delete it and reinstall it easily
