Error Message

I got this game for the steam summer sale and when ever I try to play (I have a mac) it an error message saying "cider has unexpectedly quit" and the game does not open. I have another nancy drew game that I got from steam that works just fine. I have tried reinstaling the game and steam itself I have put in a ticket over a week ago with no reply from steam support. If anyone has been able to solve this issue please let me know

I also bought this game in the steam summer sale and when i try to play it there is a notice that saya "Fail to start game (app already running)" I also have a mac and when i looked for soultions i only found answers that work on PC's if i come across any solution I will post it

i got this game today from the Christmas sale, and it won't open because it says it's already running! :(

mine did start working just after christmas. i uninstalled it for a while then when i reinstalled it after christmass it worked no problem

For me this game works fine and Nancy Drew: Captive's Curse works fine but Nancy Drew: Shadows at the Water's Edge wont open
