Is it a steamworks game? Or is it possible to own it outside of steam? Perhaps on console?
I do have issue with people who use steam forums to trash games they may have pirated or own on another system/platform whatever...
While the OP is borderline troll hes got some good info that might be relevant to people familair with the franchise.
I believe Namco tried to revive and breath new life into their tired Ridge Racer series by seeking a games company outside of Japan. They choose Bugbear games, best known for Flatout 1 & 2, and perhaps not unsurprisingly this games studio produced a game with a feel more pleasing to Flatout fans.
