Though after going through the tutorial-level several times earlier today, I still couldn't find the turrets used for the accuracy exploit. Per memory, it was the ones that shot crossfire across the hall, but upon firing at them, there was no indication of a hit. Might need to read up a bit on that part.
Edit: Seems the "particle effect"-option was to blame for no hit-indicator on the turrets.
Edit2: After some testing, it seems the party exp range is limited to just barely being offscreen from others.
