Team Customisation for Local Multiplayer?

I pre-ordered this game but have barely played it since release, because I was disappointed (as were many people from what I've seen) with the inability to create multiple custom named and outfitted worms teams for local multiplayer, without going through the hassle of making separate profiles and unlocking features seperately. Worms Reloaded was much better in this respect, though I prefer the gameplay of Revolution. So, I've been waiting on teams being fixed.

I've seen many posts by devs on facebook and forum posts stating that they're "looking into" expanding team customisation options for local play, but most of these comments were made in October 2012. Can anybody clarify whether or not this has been addressed, and if it hasn't been, can a dev confirm whether or not it's still being worked on?

Hi,

When you say separate profiles do you mean different Steam IDs? As there was never a way to do this previously. What we've added in is the functionality to create different player profiles (linked to the same Steam ID) so that multiple people can have their own save progress/team formations for the same game. This is similar to how it worked in Worms Reloaded also.

We added in the ability to create different player profiles and therefore formations with their own individual customisations in the very first patch we released for the game.
