Patch Available 20/12/2012
Updates to Worms Revolution have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The major changes include:
  • Santa has visited the worms! Time-exclusive customisations are now active.
  • Fix for saving further worms purchased after the initial 4 for all classes
  • Dynamic water should now appear correctly on certain graphics setups
  • The cost of Sentry Gun has been increased from 30 to 50 coins
This will update your game to show the version number as #103 in the Main Menu.

Do you consider sentries really that useful? Meh, guess it's fine. Glad to hear the worms purchased glitch is gone :)

Sentries are a little too easy to spam in Shopper at 30 coins apiece, and yes, they can make quite a difference in that mode.

Personally I think that 30 coins was a better price for Sentry Gun.

For one thing, lightning costs 30 so if sentry guns cost 50 that means that, if you make one, your opponent can steal it back and have 20 coins to spare.

Also in my experience sentries are usually easy to destroy, unless built by scientists.

just found a nasty bug my worm went to jump and was frozen like they were stuck in the terrain and couldn't move even when turn ended he still wouldn't move and the match couldn't resume!!!

I've been asking for the sentry gun price to go up on the forums, so thanks for taking that into account, nice update :)

@Doctor Cool, People could pretty much spam a sentry gun every 2 turns, and the whole map starts to get littered with them in shopper mode, they were far too cheap. As for the lightning thing, that's only on open maps, also if you make your sentry gun out in the open, you're asking for it to get shot anyway. The best place for sentry guns is at areas where you can't fly high up over them, so in enclosed area where someone has to move.

Destroying a sentry gun wastes a turn, which can be very important in shopper mode when you should be trying to collect coin crates every turn.

Hey so what if I bought more worms while the bug was present? The ones i bought havn't appeared i bought 2 worms at 400 coins each and they still haven't appeared..

Yay! Team 17 is really getting there with these last updates. More customization, more worms, bug fixes, what's not to like? This an awesome game that is getting better.

I can vouch for this bug as well. Since the newest update the terrain will not render at the start of a match... instead, what happens is that the game will lag for about two minutes. Then the terrain will magically appear and the match will start. At the terrain selection part of the pre-match process I can see the terrains as normal, but once one has been selected and the game has been initialized, the terrain goes invisible.

I think the jetpack needs a price increase too. Outside shoppers it is almost the only thing worth buying. Should be 30 gold at least.

Oh and how come we suddenly have 3 ropes in a Pro game? That's not very Pro. Makes it too much like Intermediate. Should be Beginner: 6, Intermediate: 4, Pro: 2 thank you very much!

Also, I think random mines would be best by default in all schemes, like it was in Reloaded.

Jetpack should definitely be 30 gold. One jetpack can completely change a game.

I agree with skunk.

The same can be said for Baseball bat too (open levels expecially). 30 gold would be perfect.

Hey i realy like your updates! but still some things are missing: the option to have one weapon set for all rounds you play, so you can add a holy handgranate, but can only use it in 1 round and then its gone.
Or the weapon strength options. And i think it would be very cool if you could make the worlds bigger, maybe add an option that you can doubble the size of the maps.
