Issues with tf2 misc items

I am trying to add items to characters from tf2 but items such as the scout misc from the halloween stuff (can't remember name) only show parts and the scout's arms show through. What do I need to do differently?

You could use the low detail in-game (non-HWM) Scout. The HWM one is different than the in-game one, so the miscs don't fit him.
