Seeking help in usermod model errors

I've just joined Steam yesterday and I've been wanting to use Source Film Maker for a while now. When I import models from the usermod, they come up as giant ERROR letters, but the other models that aren't from the usermod show up . I have nothing typed in on the filter. May someone help me with this issue?

To place models in your usermod folder they have to go into the correct folders. Here's how to put custom content into SFM.
