Motion not appearing in either graph or motion editor
The issue portrayed:

The robe is moving to the right but it isn't showing in the either the graph or motion editor.
Preferably I would like to remove that motion in this case , but the only thing I can think of is using counter animation to remove it, but this will result in strange bends in the cloth.

The fact that I originally keyframed a walk animation for DK and copied the samples to rubick got me in this position in the first place might not be the way to go, but is there a way to salvage this?

Sorry if this has been answered before, I tried searching for it but haven't found much.

Check the parent bones.

Rubick's whole Unknown section which includes the robe only has straight lines going on

You may only have the rotation selected in this screen shot.. I can't tell because you don't show what is selected., what are the Position indicators doing? Select the whole robe and then start ctrl clicking parts to turn off portions and watch what movement lines start to disappear. It could very well be a hidden control as well, did you turn on show hidden parts?

Sorry, I hope these screen shots are a bit more clear.

Just the robe section selected:

The whole unknown section selected:

Yep, "show hidden controls is turned on" is turned on for both screen shots.
I can't find any movement in both graphs by checking each control while some controls definitely show movement in the viewport.

Is it moving to the right, or is it stuck to the right? 'Cause as far as I can see, it's not supposed to move at all, unless of course the robe is weighed to another bone outside of the unknown group.

Either way, have you triend importing the reference sequence to the unknown group? (with all time selected by the way, not just all time in the shot like in your screenies)

It is definitely moving, the very first screenshot shows it. I'm actually pretty sure it's because during the walk animation rubicks left arm(from his perspective) is causing to push the robe somehow. The strange this it's not happening on his right side.

I've tried to reapply the walk animation to both him and the unknown group with all of time selected. The result is the same.

And you're sure this bone isn't the child of another bone in another group that might be doing this wonky move?

If so, did you try applying the playead preset to the entire animation set, see if it still moves? If it does, there's definitely something wrong with your session / SFM.
