Can't edit non .hwm models
Hey, I had a pretty frustrating problem not long ago. It's still doesn't work. I loaded models from the portal dlc (I want to make Portal animation, not TF2) but all the switches in the left, where the eye and face poser are supposed to be, don't work on neither GLaDOS or turrets. Neither GLaDOS or the Turret files are .hwm, they count as models.
The switches are just blacked out. I can't move the turret's / core's / GLaDOS's eye or eyebrow, or even light it on.
Please, tell me, how do I fix this? Do I need to change the model file or is it at SFM properties?

Portal models don't use flexes for face-posing at all. The eyes, eyebrows, etc, are moved by bones.

There is no bone for the eyebrow. It is showed in the face - posing menu, but the switches are dark and don't move. I have seen harry's101uk vdeos and he poses the eyes and their wings and everything well. I can't even do it because it doesn't appear.

Which model's eyebrow doesn't have a bone?

by the way, hwm isn't really any different from the average model; hwm models are just character models with extra facial detail for better emotion and lip syncing.

Anyway, you should try to find the controls in the hidden menus. Right click the animation set editor, and check the "show hidden" box. If the controls don't appear, that means those models don't have the controls. If that;s the case, go looking for some other models. I think GlaDOS does have some, but I don't think the turret has any eyebrows

Everything is bone controlled. They're all in the Unknown bones section.
