SFM won't open! (Can't find gameinfo.txt)

I was using source last night perfectly, today I found that Source won't open and instead gives me an error message saying it cannot find the gameinfo.txt. Help!

Did you add any custom content last night, did steam update last night?? Close Steam and relaunch, or reboot your computer and try again.

I added DOTA 2 stuff last night and it worked.

I rebooted my computer, no avail.

If it helps, it said it was perfoming a mini dump last night and automatically closed SFM.

Still nothing.

Open the SDK, click the drop-down box and make sure its set to "usermod". A scary-looking dialogue box will pop up. Click okay, restart computer, try again.

Follow the steps 6000 Angry Bees suggests. If you copied the script files along with the materials, models, sounds and particles folders there is a good chance that you've reset the evironments SFM needs to run.
