Please help?
When I open SFM, I just see a white screen in the viewport and if I try to load a map, I see a white screen in that window too. This is my first time using it. Is this a glitch, or am I doing something wrong?

Also, If I click "Record Game" it lets me play with a TF2 map, but when I try to play back the clip, it still shows only a white screen.

Sometimes your programs take a bit time to load and the screen goes white.

You should probably read his post, Monkey King. The map loads fine, but isn't showing in the viewport.

What video card do you have?

Geforce GTX 660, latest non-beta driver.
