Custom Weapon Skins into SFM?
I am attempting to use a weapon that was only shown in the NOTLU site. It's a reskin for the Cow Mangler, but I am unable to put by all the methods I know. Can someone help me with this?

PS: NOTLU is this site (http://halloween.tf2mods.net/dock.php). Check it out if you havent because it's actually pretty cool with stuff that didn't originally make it into TF2 and stuff you can still use to reskin your items. :)

You can try putting the materials/models in the usermod folder. Just note they will make the original/default cowmangler unusable until you delete the files from usermod.
I actually tried that, but the problem is that the model comes out invisible. This problem actually happens when I do it this way and how Pte Jack did it.
You need to make the model have the filename described within itself, probably ../usermod/models/weapons/c_models/c_drg_cowmangler/c_drg_cowmangler.
If that doesn't work, you'll probably have to decompile and recompile it or something, which I won't help you with.
Once, I redownload SFM, I'll try your first idea out. If it doesn't work, I'll try to find a tutorial on how to decompile and recompile it. :/ Also, have you chacked out the link?
No, I haven't checked the link, as according to the address of the link, it's just Team Fortress 2 skins.
But aren't they hats/miscs/weapon reskins?
That's the definition of skins when talking about Team Fortress 2, in fact.
Don't forget to hex them if they are reskins, otherwise they'll replace the original: http://legoguy9875.deviantart.com/art/Gmod-and-SFM-Model-Hexing-Tutorial-424031304

What about unhexable models?
