Music volume spontaneously changing?
I have a music .wav that I cut up into a few parts within sfm. For some reason, whenever I export the movie, it gets to a certain spot in one of those clippings of the song and the volume drops way down quiet. It all plays at normal volume when in sfm, it does this only in the exported movie.

I have tried "set clip volume", it is set at 1.00, and to be clear, it's not like the whole clip is set at a lower volume, the volume fluctuates part way through the clip.

Have you tried using multiple copies of the audio clip, slice or resize the portions to match your shots in your clip. That way each shot has it own dedicated sound file. (?? suggestion)

I had this same issue, I had to lower all the audio down a bit, and when it got to the part where I had the louder music and voices at once I had to just keep trying to see how much higher I could raise that audio before it cut out. Unfortunately this same thing happened in Adobe Premiere, although premiere wouldnt make a weird click/pop noise when the louder bits started like SFM would keep doing.

Pte Jack,

I just tried your suggestion and unfortunately, it still suddenly quiets down at the same spot :(

I am wondering if SFM does some sort of automated leveling that can be turned on or off somewhere. I am thinking, maybe if you record game sounds when you do a take, it drops the music track down automatically, so it doesn't drown out the other audio...but it would be nice to know how to switch that off it that's the case.

I'm also getting the weird click/pop sound Yosminkov is talking about. It happens in a few places, usually right before a spontaneous volume change.

Hmmm, wonder if you have some sort of ambient setting enabled. (Not sure how to turn it on or off if you do though)

If you find out anything please post your findings here (I will do the same), I have a feeling this issue is going to continue haunting me in future videos, and my "fix" makes the entire volume of the video much lower than I would like it to be. Pte Jack, I tried that first suggestion as soon as it occurred, sounded no different.
