Can I delete the TF2 files?
I'm having a bit of trouble with hard drive space, so I was wondering if I could free some up by deleting the TF2 files from SFM.

Do that and you won't have any models or textures... SFM may crash because it can't find files it needs... (SFM is based off the embedded TF2 not the TF2 game)

Yeah, I meant the tf folder or whatever in the SFM game folder. But if I shouldn't then ok, thanks/

the other issue is that one of the things you often have to do when you encounter a problem is to verify the cache. and doing that will just reinstall all the tf2 content anyway.
