It didn't even start downloading automatically for me; it's stuck on "queued". I'm afraid to touch it because whenever that happens to TF2, trying to force an update causes a "disk read error" and I have to reboot the computer to get it to work.

I'm starting to wonder if there's some major issue with SteamPipe that Valve isn't aware of. A clog, if you will.

if it gets stuck in queued just try to launch it and it will ask to update it

And that's when the disk read error occurs.
