Shaking models that are locked on another model.
Hello again. I've encouncored another problem while been working in SFM. I've created an animation for a car, that moves straight on X axis. And the thing is, there are characters in this car. So, when the car moves, models begin to shake and stagger, and yet - they follow the car, but with huge delay. It's liek their position "updates" to slowly, and they can't "keep up" with the car. I've locked car's "root_transform" on each "rig_root" of my model. The car is the Sniper's camping van from "meet the Sniper".

I think that I have to create separate movements for my characters that are sitting in the car.

And if you interested and have some free time, you're welcome to check out my latest video on my channel. It's not perfect and not even good in terms of animation, but I'm still learning things.

Are the models in the car using a rig?

That happens to me too when using a rig, but I don't think it effects any rendering.
Try unlocking the transforms of a model and see if it still lags behind.

Yes, it affects the render, I can upload a short video on YouTube, if you want to see it.

I've just tried to unlock the whole model and it doesn't work, lag stays on.

And yes, models in car are using a rig (biped_simple).

Upd. I've tried to "unrig" the model and lag disappeared. Does it mean that I'll have to animate my characters and then, before rendering the whole thing, "unrig" my characters?
Yep, that's what you should do.
