Source Filmmaker needs more types of lights.
I'm tired of just using a spotlight. What if I need to light up a dark room? A spotlight is not going to do that. It's only useful for carlights, flashlights, and lamp poles.

Now, if we had radial lights, that would be the ♥♥♥♥. That would light up a dark room more sufficiently.

Maybe even hemispherical lights, too, for the cool "KAMEHAMEHA" moments, or making some sort of a forcefield.

What's your input? Would you have more lights or what?

well, you can remap a light to give a kind of dome of light. but yeah, having a single light that can light in all direction, and having a controllable global light would be awesome.

I'd fall to pieces with joy if more light types were implemented, Seems like in everything I make, I end up feeling like I need a radial light at one point or another.

Yeah. Just a way to add and control unshadowed dynamic point lights would be great. No idea why that's not in, it's not like there aren't any in HL2...
