When trying to launch on linux, the game tries to stretch itself across both of my monitors and becomes unplayable
So, I bought this game today and got to play for a little while and enjoyed it greatly. The issues started when I quit the game into the mainscreen. Suddenly, it decided that this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ must be stretched across both screens on my dual monitor setup, which caused all menu buttons to become completely unusable. The menu music and background played fine but I couldn't interract with anything·

Now when I try to launch the game, it automagically spawns it on left screen (I always play my games on right monitor and every other game understands this) and tries to do that stretch thing again. Has anyone else had this issue and solved it?

Heres a nifty screenshot illustrating the issue: https://i.imgur.com/34wpko7.jpg

Hi,

I had the same problem. You have to set the fullscreen from 1 to 0 and change the screen resolution in the "prefs" file in the following folder:

/home/<user name>/.config/unity3d/Shorebound Studios/Spectraball

Enjoy :spectraball:

Happens on Windows with dual monitor setup as well. Don't have one, but my friend does and he's a windows luser instead of linux user (trying to turn him though!) and had the same problem.

Another thing you may try since this game is made in Unity is to hold both shift and ctrl when it launches. Then standard Unity launcher will show up and you'll be able to select quality level and resolution there.
