Port forwarding not working, friend cant join (27015,27016,27020)

I start a game with ports forwarded UDP and TCP (27015, 27016, 27020) but my friend can't join. The port in the game is set to 27015.

Just tried it with hamachi on LAN mode. Doens't work either.

If you're still searching for an answer its a weird thing in the source engine.
Sometime it works sometimes it wont. Depends on the updates.
Sometimes you need to download the server from steamCMD rather than steam or listened server.

Or give him your IP and not your localIP (write what's my IP in google, google will give it directly.)

You need to provide your friend with the public IP, not your local IP. If it's not working then you probably did something wrong elsewhere. Have your friend also try forwarding port 27015 and try to host.

wrong, its not a bug, server hosting always worked 100% for me and my friend. the only way to get the dedicated server is using steamcmd, the one u download from steam doesnt work.

download this: https://portforward.com/help/portcheck.htm and check if the port 27015 is open. u dont need the 27016 and 27020 unless u're running more than 1 server
