Synergy won't start up

Steam says it's launching the game, and then gives me THIS error message.
"Content file locked D:Steam\steamapps\common\Synergy\synergy.exe"

I wanted to try it only to realize that I don't even have a file named like that in my directory.

Sure, going to look around some more, and if I find anything I'l be sure to post it.
I don't think it's a Synergy specific error, as other games get it too.

Having this problem aswell, post a fix if found

If your anti-virus software detected something it didn't like it can 'lock' it. AVG is known for this.
Disable your AV and see if that solves the issue.

Another possibility is failed/failing sectors on a drive, the OS can lock 'bad' sectors.
Run drive diagnostics/repair utility.

Yep, avast did it, it was the reason, it now opens without any problem.
