Steam Certificate Length Error! 0/2048
Has anybody else been getting this error?

Whenever I load up zps and try to connect to a server, I get disconnected with this error.

I have verified the game cache for both zps and Source SDK 2007 and it downloads missing files, but it still happens.

I swear Source SDK 2007 is a piece of garbage now.

I have also sent a support ticket to steam since I cant play zps now. dammit!

I finally solved the problem, I deleted steam and did a fresh install and downloaded my games again.

This probably isn't relevant to your issue, but I restarted steam and the error stopped for zps.

To fix this error you got to disable steam beta.

As of 2/19/20 I am also getting " STEAM certificate length error! 0/2048 message " ive deleted clientreigstrey.blob, ive verified through steam/Zombiepanic, restarted steam, computer. Would really like to play! Dont want to uninstall, I got the worse of the worse download times.

To fix this error you got to disable steam beta.

Valve has told us this issue is related to server owners using the old HLDS instead of the new SteamCMD. If you run a server please reinstall ZPS on your server using SteamCMD

Here are two threads started by a buddy and within minutes the moderator locks them. I think Valve/steam does not want this to go to far. Something fishy here. So far your fix does not work with third party mods running in 2007 sdk base format. two games I know affected is battlegrounds 2 and ww1
