Unfortunately after a Google search, I tried that but it does nothing to my card usage whatsoever. It is a bottleneck plain and simple, but I can't work out what is causing it!
Try new drivers?
I tried running in compatibility mode just then and it had no effect whatsoever on my card usage.
I don't have this problem with any other games, I was running Black Ops 2 maxed out @ 120fps last night no worries so I don't wanna mess with my drivers but thanks for the suggestion.
If it helps, the times it dips to ~30 are when there is a lot of smoke/steam on the screen.
Yep Grimm spot on, 8 64bit right here, I guess I am stuck with it then DANG.
Badseed I don't think that is exactly correct because I have had it working with 95%+ card usage on both before it's only when I try to use Supersampling that the bottleneck (which isn't a bottleneck after all, its a DX issue) rears its ugly head. Awesome 2001 joke though.
Well I will stop trying now and just enjoy it at what quality I can get away with and my 580s can waste away while sobbing quietly.
Thanks for everyones help.
