Try verifying integrity of game cache first, or changing something in the video options too...

just verified cache and still crashing

Same thing over here, it crashes randomly. But the good thing it works almost perfectly in 3D stereo mode.

Are you guys on windows 8? maybe setting the game to start in XP, Vista or 7 compatibility mode will help? I don't know, I'm just throwing out random suggestions...

i have 7 64 bit

I ran on "Vista" compaibility (I have Windows 8.1) and copied the file from binary physix to binary and it worked (refer to the above guide)
