Cut-scene Crash; Unrecoverable System Crash Please Help!

Every crash has resulted in a hard shutdown. I have tried running this game through steam and origin with re-installs throughout. i've changed the resx/y, disabled physx, ran compatibility... this has been really frustrating. The only progress i have had occurred after i disabled the intro videos. Before this, i couldn't get to the main menu. Now the issues happen before the first mission about 5-8 seconds into the cutscene. I have also installed/enabled .net 3.5 sp1.

just tried installing legacy physx v9.12.0613 didn't help

Have you tried just turning off PhysX?

I think it must be some conflict somewhere, but i havent the faintest idea where.

Google or, checking the forums here and I know it's a pain to do so but, it may be useful. Don't just try everything, decide what article may be relevant to yours. Idk nothing about alll these differenttypes of issues, I just fix things on my own and some times, I actually amaze myself. However, I didn't have any problems with this game other than, PhysX. I disabled it and it was good to go. Now, if I can only grab that baton from that wrestler dude and kick his a s s, I can move on.

i figured it out eventually, the actual cuscenes were the catalysts to the issue. so i went into the config file and inserted semicolons before each cutscene title. did the trick. im running with everything on high, 120 fps (also config), physx on. game is better than i remembered. thanks for the advice. good luck with that wrestler!
