Crysis doesnt work

Hello, Ive downloaded crysis but it doesnt start. So i bought crysis in steam but i cant play it. It also download the gameclient "gamespy comrade" wich doenst excist anymore. So i pay for something.. then i download software that doenst excist anymore.. and the game doesnt start. does anybody know how?

replace (dot) with . in browser
Once downloaded, if you have winrar just EXTRACT the filex into the Bin32 folder, then just run Crysis (shortcut).

Hey Nomad thx a lot for youre reply! but what is this. somekind of crack? ive bought the game on steam!!! but it just doesnt work and it install gameclient software from 3th party that doesnt even excist no more :) I want to extract youre files but it isnt no virus or crack?

Yes it is a crack/patch. No, it isnt a virus, it worked perfectly for me, I found it on another topic...yes gamespy installed for me too and everyone other who installs Crysis

You don't need Gamespy installed in order to run it. Also, that file is not a 'crack'.

Did you replace the (dot) with an actual dot (.) ?

Oh, Whoops... In my sleep deprived state I didn't notice. :-p
Thanks that got it. Thing is, this is an original, from disc, version of the game. It installs both the 64 and 32 bit variations. I don't see how a bin64 file will help me.

the 32 bit exe is optimized for intel cpu and will not run on amd systems. the 64 bit exe does work on amd. just replace the bin32 folder with the contents from bin64 and you can run the game
