Amazing remaster from amazing game!
You have to try it!

I don't generally play lots of fps games and the ones I play I never play multi or hard modes. so it is a casual perspective if you will. the game took around 9 hours instead of 5 shown here as my internet died halfway.

the game is old and it shows in many places textures load in front of your eyes optimization is garbage and much more such problems.

AI is also very bad even for its time as I have played games like half life 1 that had amazing AI. some soldiers will not leave their mounted guns even when you clear the whole base. it was a common thing for me to find the last 3 soldiers on their mounted guns when I have cleared the whole base with 0 stealth. speaking of steath, I have also seen many soldiers saying "did you hear that" after I have come out of stealth, killed 4 soldiers with no silencer and ran back to cover.

so the game is very very dated. but I still had lots of fun playing it. if it is cheap you can really enjoy yourself but you gotta also take into consideration your pc specs and the casualty of the game itself. if I were a hardcore fps player looking to get a real premium fps sp experience I think I would be disappointed. also the gun handling feels very bad especially compared to warhead. but warhead got rid of buttons to switch suit modes which was making combos very easier as well. pros and cons I guess.
