Installing Uplink themes on Steam for Mac

I've been trying to install an uplink theme, but the different forums only offer PC help.
Tried placing my "Chosen" (theme) folder into ~/Library/Application Support/Steam/SteamApps/comon/Uplink -> Uplink.app/Contents/Resources/
Also tried a subfor "graphics", and also tried to place it as a sibling of Uplink.app...
Anybody managed to do this on a Mac w/ Steam install?
