I just discovered there's side quests ;~; is there any way to miss them or mess them up if you don't do them quickly enough? Is there a way to find out how many quests there are/where?

Found 2 dungeon keys and opened the path. But now I am stuck. Already found the watering tool to water the vines but one of the path is locked out by gold key. I have no idea how to proceed. There is another stone (at the area with a sign and a vine) blocking my way and when push it, it stuck at the entrance. No way to proceed or enter other area. What should I do now? I am clueless....
