Game Displays as Running when it is closed.

More information: I cannot enter the game or any other games. I have also tried restarting steam, through task manager (where Blue Shift is not active), to no avail. What do I do?

you might need to try to run it in windowed mode.right click on your game and in advanced options (it was something like that) type in -windowed
It was something like -windowed ,i don't remember i haven't done this in a long time.
you might need to type in -w for width of the window and -h for height.you can choose any resolution,in this case -w 640 -h 480
