Hi,

I had GTA 4 for ages but havent played it (due to it having GFWL).

So now that GFWL is gone, this game installs and plays just by a press of a button ?
No stupid accounds or whatever are required anymore ?

The GFWL service is still active for GTA IV. It's the only way to get achievements and play online multiplayer. Only the GFWL Marketplace was shut down (August 2013).

Put the Xlive.dll and .ini files where the GTAIV.exe file is and you don't have to deal with GFWL anymore.

peoples make a big deal about GFWL but to be honest i do not see nothing worng with it never got any problem so far

You can install it and run it correctly if you download and reinstall GFWL from microsoft official site http://www.xbox.com/en-US/LIVE/PC/DownloadClient

I just made a Social Club account, a LIVE account, and I put in the code Steam gave me when the game asked for it, and it runs fine. Dont see why anyone else is having problems
