How to fix "fatal error vds10" ???

hi,
i have problem in gta IV. i cant launch this game.

this is a notif error:
"gta iv fatal error: VDS10
gta iv fatal error: INVALID RESOURCE DETECTED - please reinstall the game"

I've reinstalled the game. But the results is same

For gods sakes avoid ''x liveless'' as its an illegal hack that breaks GTA-IV. Although the game will still run it alters it so much that it creates more problems than it solves and if you peddle it on the forums the admin have a tendency towards removing posts for this reason.

(1) Do a fresh install of GTA-IV or ELFC (or both) unless you already have a fresh installation. This really only applies if the existing installation has become corrupted, been modified or seemingly won't work.

(2) Install http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=201134 - this patches the games so that the old Games For Windows Live (GFWL) login is upgraded so it now connects to the XBOX server which replaced it.

(3) When prompted for a login, you can choose to ignore or to create a new XBOX account. For example, I have a decade-old GFWL account and the server allowed me to login without any issues, but a lot of people have found that their GFWL login no longer works, so make a new XBOX one. Once you have patched GTA-IV, if you also have EFLC, it will automatically patch that too.

(4) Run the game you wish to play. Please be advised that after patching with the application I mentioned here the loading screens will be displayed, you will hear the GTA-IV theme tune wherein the screen will then go black for about one minute and then the Rockstar Games Social Club loading screen will appear.

(5) Set the options for the game, video, screen resolution, controls (if necessary) and then play.

NOTE: your save games and key binding data is in the following folder: C:\Users\<your name>\AppData\Local\Rockstar Games\GTA IV\savegames\user_<long number> - if you have several long numbers, just open the folders one by one until you find a file called ControlMap.dat and this is where GTA-IV, The Lost and Damned, and The Ballard of Gay Tony saves the game. NOT on some cloud - this is a ten year old game we're talking about here that existed long before there was a cloud so all saves are done locally.

For the love of God!!!!
This link is the installer usually for GWFL, and after installed, when i iniciated the MArketPlace, it simply say what i have problem with internet conection!!!
And, the GTA IV Laucher CONTINUe returning the SAME ERROR: "FATAL ERROR: VDS10"

PLEASE!!!!!! I uninstalled the game becasuse start with a terrible LAg, after crash in midle of game, and now just DONT START!!!!

Found a fix for vds10 remove pual.dll

So you know im running this game on a presario cq60-615dx laptop upgrade cpu and hard drive. I got the error and the pual.dll cause i remember when the game first game out this was one of the bugs. When you remove paul.dll it disables rgsc.

I tried but the game just created one because when i started the game the error appeared and the Paul.dll appeared too

Note that you're replying to a 6 year old thread, with the last reply being from 4 years ago.

In any case this would appear to be a GFWL issue and would as such seem to imply that you downgraded the game. The answer's in that case going to be that you did such poorly; not installed xliveotherwordforfewer (the terms's censored...) or some such. Not myself interested in downgrading so no specific advise to give other than using an in fact for the current TCE applicable guide/process.
