The demo complains about a missing executable when trying to start it from Steam. It referred to "Life Inc.exe" which I assume is the Windows version so I assume that there might be some configuration error for the Linux version. I looked in the game's folder and the Linux executable "Life Inc.x86_64" was there and I was able to launch it from there manually. Game is pretty fun and I played all the way through the demo. I hope you keep making games as it seems like you're pretty good at it!...
