So I can move between devices and don't need redo the same puzzles over and over to unlock the new ones.

I never really got into sudoku before, but since I've discovered Cracking the Cryptic's channel last week, I've become addicted to their videos! So I downloaded an free app on my phone on Monday and so far have completed 6 easy puzzles at work (during my breaks of course), but my best time was 28 minutes, the worst 75(!!) Are these games (the other 5 included) also solvable for beginner sudoku players like me? And how helpful are the hints for me?...

Okay, I'm reasonably intelligent, but these one and two star puzzles are frustrating. I wound up looking for a clue to puzzle 41. It says that after 'initial moves' R8c9 can only be a 1. R8c9 is a given digit (a two). It also says that 3 must be locked into two cells. I don't see how, there's 5 cells a 3 could be in with nothing to rule 3 out of other boxes....

It says there is a Jellyfish pattern for the 7, 8, and 9. These hints (1, 2, and 3) are wrong and I am perhaps wondering if the puzzle is not actually set up correctly. Hint 1 says there are four 7s in row 3 at columns 1, 2, 5, &8. This is incorrect because the puzzle starts with a 7 in box 3, so there cannot be a 7 in r3c8. The same is true for the hints for digits 8 and 9. While I think the puzzle may be solvable, it is certainly not in they way they intended....

When I mouse over a puzzle, each cell I hover over is automatically selected. From the "Tools" explanation it sounds like it's supposed to require a click and drag. Is this a problem with the Mac version? I would go try it on my PC but I only have an interest in playing this on my Macbook anyway. It also makes my laptop run hot which is ridiculous for a game that can be played in a browser......
