Two bugs on the second mission (Beach): Wave timer disappeared, and no dampening generators.

So, on the second mission (the beach), I fought off several waves and then the wave timer disappeared. I wandered around for five minutes, and nothing happened. So I abandoned the mission and restarted.

The second time, I completed the mission, but the Dampening Generator dialogue never appeared and I never got that emplacement. I finished the mission and it isn't available to equip or anything.

So, are there any workarounds for this? And how in the world do I delete my save, because I am NOT going to play through the game without what appears to be a very critical emplacement!

I am experiencing this issue, too. The dialog "use 3 to select the dampening generator emplacement" is up, but I am unable to select it, it's not visible in the menu, the timer is off, and I'm stuck.

The game is completely and utterly broken and has been since launch.

DF don't remotely care. They have got your money and have moved on. Have fun!

Another "no dampening generator" bug here. Game tells me to select it, but I haven't got it to select, and as such can make no progress as the next wave never comes.

can you send your save files in to [e-mail]?

I have not run into that bug, but we will look into it. Also make sure you verify the integrity of the game cache through steam.
