What Kind of Direction is This

I'm looking to get into the fortress involved with the whole vile beast of the woods in Khemera (however you spell it) and so the guy won't let me in and tells me to go see Red Beard.

Did that, Red Beard told me about his early life, and that's it.

One thing I'm clearly having an issue with in this game is the lack of concise directions. More often than not the quests in the journal tell me nothing about who is where and in the case of this dialogue the wizard is lying because I can't tell Red Beard about his lack of cooperation.

What do?

Once the fortress turns you away, people in the village are more willing to talk to you. Doing so will eventually get a new map location opened up to continue hunting the beast.

Thanks, would of been nice if the designers bothered to include a bit of writing telling me to talk to the people in the village again.

Instead all he says is to go to Red Beard, who does nothing.

Grade A designers.

Seriously though, I do like the game, but this was just a brain fart on the developers part.

yea i agree , sometimes the directions are rubbish . If i'm going to risk my life for someone i expect them to at least offer me directions.
